This month we work on ourselves both individually and collectively to become a better church. Remember the church I s not a building but rather an individual or a body of baptized believers in Christ Jesus!
In the month of February let’s do our best to make all of our events that we as a church body have committed to and show our allegiance to both God and our church.
SMCC will participate in the Black History Parade on Saturday February 13,2016. We look forward to seeing everyone there. On the 2nd Sunday our fellowship will be at Faith Outreach with Bishop Clark. The van will leave SMCC at 3:00P.M.
Our Black History program will be held on the 3rd Sunday during morning service. Remember to wear you Black History Attire. Bring some of your favorite ethnic dishes along with homemade desserts, as we will eat and fellowship after the service.
Saturday the 27th we will have a musical at the church. Get ready for a good time!
February 28, 2016 we will install our church officers for this year.
Don’t forget as a service to our community and as a component of our Church Outreach we serve free breakfast every Sunday at 8:00 am and lunch every Wednesday at 11:00ish.
Shout out to Hazel Green and Fannie Crumbly for having the most people on their bench the 5th Sunday. Keep up the good work!
