June saw St. Mary’s Community Church celebrate its pastor’s 29th anniversary. Helping us celebrate Pastor Timothy Knighten Sr. anniversary were; The House of Restoration with Pastor Arthur Green Jr., Faith Outreach Church with Pastor Bishop Clark, All Nations Pentecostal Church with Pastor Rosa Thomas-Miller, and Praise Temple Deliverance Center with Pastor Bishop Willie Watson Jr. We had some awesome times in the Name of the Lord with each visiting church.
On Father’s Day, the women of St. Mary’s treated the men to breakfast at Buddy Freddie’s restaurant.
During the month of July, the church embarked on several fundraising events, beginning with the Twelve Tribes fundraiser, a grocery raffle, the GFS fundraiser, dinner sales after service every second Sunday, and culminating with the Family and Friends Day on the fifth Sunday (July 31st).
Every Tuesday, the Prayer line is open at 6:00 – 6:15 pm.
Bible Study is every Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
Don’t forget, that as a service to our community and as a component of our Church Outreach, we serve free breakfast every Sunday at 8:00 am and lunch every Wednesday at 11:00 am.
