As we enter into a new year, the St. Mary’s Community Church family looks back on the year 2016 and give thanks to God for his mercy and goodness, for without Him, we would not have come this far.
During the last year, we worked hard as a Christian Church to confront our challengers, but must of all, celebrate the many triumphs as God inspired us to continue the teachings of His word, and to work in His vineyard.
We are starting the year by extending the helping hand of the St. Mary’s Community Church family by participating in the “Week of Service.” This event is a partnership program between the Plant City Improvement League and Carefest-Tampa Bay as a way to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. During the week of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, volunteers work to help the elderly, handicapped, and the needy repair, paint, and clean or beautify their homes, help them shop, or visit nursing homes, etc. This year the “Week of Service” begins on Monday, January 16 and runs thru Saturday, January 21.
Don’t forget, that as a service to our community and a component of our Church Outreach, we serve free breakfast every Sunday at 8:00 am, and free lunch every Wednesday at 11:00 am.
Every Tuesday, at 6:00 to 6:15 pm, St. Mary’s Community Church prayer line is open. The number for the prayer line is (605) 475-6700, code 9479396.
Bible Study is every Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

May God continue to bless each of us, and do not feel alone. If you will just let Christ come into your life, you will realize that you have a companion in whatever happens in your life’s journey. Stay closer to God and all the goodness will come.
