March Was A Busy Month for SMCC
During the month of March, St. Mary’s Community Church celebrated its 108th anniversary
.
As we looked back over the years, we were thankful to the Lord who blessed us with his presence year in, and year out.
While there have been difficulties along the way, and times of great testing, we have seen miracles of God’s power, mercy, and grace. God truly is good ALL the time…even when we may not have understood his ways.
Being that this was out 108th anniversary as a Church, we wanted to be sure that we marked this occasion with the recognition worthy of such a milestone by having The Encounter Church of Winter Haven FL, Glory Temple First Born Church of Plant City FL, Amie Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Nichols FL, and The New Beginnings Church of Plant City FL, join us as believers to worship our Lord Jesus Christ.
Upcoming Events
St. Mary’s Community has two events scheduled for this month (April).
The first is the 4th Annual Family “Christiani” Tea, scheduled for Sunday, April 23 at 4:00 PM. This lavish event is hosted by the women of St. Mary’s and is a must for the entire family. A drawing for prizes will be held after the Tea and tickets for the drawing are $5.00 each and can be purchased from any of the St. Mary’s women.
The second event for April is the “Men in Black” scheduled for Saturday, April 29th at 6:00 pm and hosted by the men of St. Mary’s Community Church. Another lavish event highlighted by choruses from various churches from the entire Tampa Bay Area. The guest speaker for this event will be Minister Corneious Bobo, an associated pastor at the First Baptist Church of Progress Village in Tampa.
Keep the dates September 21st and 22nd open. St. Mary’s Community Church will be hosting a great event on those days (more info to come in the upcoming days).
Remember, that as a service to our community and a component of our Church Outreach, we serve free breakfast every Sunday at 8:00 am, and free lunch every Wednesday at 11:00 am.
