As St. Mary’s Community Church continue to serve the community, its parishioners continue to praise Him by thoughtfully extolling His goodness, His greatness, His majesty, His love, His grace, and His mighty deeds on our behalf, as we toil in the vineyards under the leadership of this church’s great pastor, Rev. Timothy S. Knighten, Sr.
During the month of April, St. Mary’s carried on with its traditional Sunday services and its usual activities.
On the last Sunday of April, the women of St. Mary’s Community Church held its 4th annual Women Tea, known this year as, “The Family Christiani’ Tea.” Again, this event attracted a large crowd that seemed to enjoy every minute of the affair. Games were played and the highlight of the evening was the fashion show at the conclusion of the tea. https://youtu.be/vo2Ek4eAZ3g
During the last week of April, Pastor Knighten, or “Coach Knighten,” as the Plant City High School wrestling team and their parents affectionately call him, got his after-school and summer wrestling camp off to a good start, using the church’s annex as his base of operation.
He has been conducting workouts two and three times a week since its inception, with its first competition scheduled for Saturday of next week.
